I'm not so sure where all the hatred comes from against this movie. I've never seen any of the comics so I have no reference point to base it on. I didn't see it in 3D so that didn't ruin it for me. It was a solid film and my son really enjoyed it. I don't see myself watching it again, or even watching the other "books" if they even get made though.[3/5]
